What is it?
Colon Hydrotherapy is an effective method of naturally cleansing the colon. During your session, a trained practitioner facilitates the gentle and controlled introduction of purified water into the colon.
The water helps to hydrate the colon and encourage the body to gently eliminate built up waste and toxins, whilst stimulating the immune system and restoring proper organ function. The process allows better absorption and digestion of vital nutrients, strengthens the tone and improves overall bowel function.
At Vitality Flow Colonics we use a closed system colonic hydrotherapy device
The incredibly gentle (0.5 - 1.5psi) and slow introduction of water is regulated by the colon hydrotherapy device using a series of safety check valves that control both the water flow rate and the temperature.
A common misconception is that the device uses pumps or motors to produce a high pressure water flow with the intention to fill the entire colon. This is incorrect.
Slow, gentle and small introductions of water are used along with abdominal massage, acupressure & reflexology to encourage comfortable and easy release.
The water flow used during using a colon hydrotherapy device is the same as that used in other closed systems, such as the woods gravity method.
The device measures any resistance of the water flow on a highly sensitive gauge, providing precision accuracy and superior safety.
The temperature of the water can be adjusted by the therapist to suit the client and treatment needs and is monitored via a temperature gauge on the device.
The combination of these features is why this method of colonic hydrotherapy is renowned for its safety, results and comfort.
